About this holiday home

This cosy house is located in the heart of Cochem town centre. From here you can walk straight into the cosy centre, visit the world-famous castle, taste local wines in one of the many bars, enjoy a nice meal or take a boat trip on the Moselle. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, a cosy living room, several double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There is also a patio with a barbecue .

In Cochem, of course, there is plenty to do. Should you also want to explore the surroundings of Cochem, Monreal comes highly recommended. Less known but very picturesque. The old village with beautiful half-timbered houses, impressive castles and an authentic atmosphere, is very photogenic. From the village, you can walk to the castles or climb the Philippsburg tower to enjoy fantastic views. Another nice place is Beilstein, a charming medieval village on the Moselle, often called "Sleeping Beauty of the Moselle" for its picturesque character. Around Cochem you can also enjoy hiking and cycling. If you like a brisk walk, head to Bremm, famous for its steep vineyards, perfect place for a challenging hike with panoramic views. Castle lovers should also make sure to visit Burg Eltz, one of the most beautiful castles in Germany. Absolutely worth a visit .

Tip from the expert

A what to do in Cochem tip you don't want to miss: catch the Cochemer Sesselbahn, or chairlift. This will take you to the Pinner Kreuz, 155 metres above the town. From here you have great views of Cochem and over the Moselle
