About this holiday home
This very cosy and warmly decorated holiday home dates back to 1615 and used to be the town hall. The characterful property is special to stay in. You will enjoy modern comfort with a well-equipped kitchen, spacious bathrooms and comfortable bedrooms. The house has an enclosed courtyard with lounge area and BBQ where you can sit sheltered when warm, and where the grapes literally grow over your head.
The Moselle is just a few metres away. There you can also park your car for free

The walking and cycling possibilities around this place are almost endless. Near the property starts theEagle Owl Trail (Owl route) this is about 5.8 km. It is a medium-difficult hike through wine country and nature where you enjoy beautiful views of Marienburg Castle and the village of Briedel.
Just 5.5 km away is the lively place Zell with its 'restaurants, terraces and shops'. Zell is famous for its schwarze Katze wine. From Zell it is also possible to book several boat trips on the Moselle. There is a good tourist office in the centre for more information. Other great places for a day out are Cochem and Bernkastel-keus

After a long walk or just for cooling off on hot days, you can visit the wassertretanlage in Briedel. This involves walking in shallow, cool water and lifting your feet out of the water each time, which is part of classic Kneipp hydrotherapy. This stimulates circulation, the immune system and a feeling of refreshment. It is also beautifully situated on the Moselle and is always open
