About this holiday home

This cozily furnished house sleeps 16 people. It is a perfect place for the whole family. Two pets are also welcome. The beautiful nature of the Sauerland region surrounds the house. There is a recreation room with a bar, tennis table and pool table. In the garden, you can enjoy a barbecue in summer. The famous Winterberg can be reached within half an hour by car, and from the house you can trek straight into the woods.

There is something to do every season in the Sauerland. There are plenty of cycling, hiking, and mountain biking routes. The beautiful countryside is perfect for this. In winter, Winterberg offers plenty of opportunities to hit the slopes. The surrounding villages have cozy restaurants and terraces to enjoy German cuisine. Nordenau is a place in Schmallenberg's municipality. The town is an air spa recognized by the German state. The village scape is defined by over 200-year-old half-timbered houses crowned by the ruins of Burg Rappelstein. A major attraction is the mining gallery Brandholz, which is said to have healing effects.

Das Haus ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen bzw es wurde wenig investiert (außer in die Deko). Im EG fehlt eindeutig eine Toilette(diese war nur im einzigen Schlafzimmer im EG). Im 1. OG gab es 11 Betten und hierzu ein Bad. Leider funktionierte teilweise die Heizung nicht. Einige Leuchten funktionierten nicht. Die Spülmaschine ist ausgelaufen. Die Küche ist sehr alt und sehr preiswert bestückt. Der Service vor Ort war prima. Es kam mehrmals und direkt die Verwalterin vorbei. Sie war freundlich und sehr bemüht. Der große Esstisch an den alle passten war perfekt.

Sehr nette und geräumige Villa. Im Haus gibt es alles was man braucht für einen entspannten Urlaub. Für Mahlzeiten Zubereitung ist die Küche ausreichend ausgestattet.

In front of the house you can park up to 3 cars. The rest of the cars can be parked in a car park only 3 minutes walk from the house.

Tip from the expert

About seven car minutes will get you to Altastenberg. Skiliftkarussell Altastenberg is a good alternative for skiers seeking more peace. It is an excellent ski area with plenty of parking and some nice eateries to take a break
