A special experience is the visit to Waldeck Castle. The castle is situated high above the Edersee and offers an impressive panoramic view of the lake and the wooded landscape of the Kellerwald-Edersee Nature Park. Here you can visit the castle museum, stroll through the historic rooms, and enjoy the magnificent view. A trip to Waldeck can be wonderfully combined with a hike, a boat trip on the Edersee, or a walk through the old town.
