A short hike directly from the house to the Kronberg (approx. 3 km) is well worthwhile. On the way, a hut invites you to stop for a bite to eat and a marvellous view over Viechtach awaits you at the top. We also recommend a trip to Höllensteinsee: enjoy the tranquillity of the water and take a break on the sunny restaurant terrace

A trip to the treetop walk in St. Englmar is a real highlight for young and old. On the barrier-free treetop path, you can walk high above the trees and enjoy unique views over the Bavarian Forest and the Danube Valley. The nature trails and the "Haus am Kopf" are also exciting. A worthwhile destination for families, nature lovers and anyone who wants to experience the forest from a new perspective
