About this holiday home

Surrounded by lush gardens, the single-storey villa offers peace and comfort in a beautiful location. Via a shared driveway, you reach the property, which features a well-kept interior and an open kitchen for preparing your favourite dishes. In the evenings, gather around the crackling fireplace. An idyllic footpath leads from the house to a small beach. With the owner's badge, you can park for free at La-Croix-Valmer beach! .

La Croix Valmer, the village with a "qualité de vie" is a lovely and charming seaside resort with its weekly market on Sundays that is very popular for miles around. The fish stall will be waiting for you around 12.30 to enjoy some fresh oysters over a glass of white wine. Saint-Tropez is 12 km from the villa. A shortcut takes you to Saint-Tropez without having to queue in long traffic jams. Saint-Tropez truly offers all forms of entertainment: beautiful sandy beaches, a world-famous marina, plenty of cafés, restaurants and the famous Plage de Pampelonne. There are ten 18-hole golf courses in the area. The village of Port Grimaud, with its bridges over beautiful canals and its pleasant quays with brightly coloured houses, is ideal for strolling .

Das Haus hat eine traumhafte Lage mit einem schönen Garten und einem traumhaften Meerblick. Gute Raumaufteilung, 3 Sofas, große, bequeme Betten und durch Celine eine freundliche Begrüßung vor Ort. Leider waren aber einige Dinge nicht zufriedenstellend. Der Gasgrill ist ein unbrauchbares Wrack, welches laut älteren Bewertungen schon seit fast einem Jahr defekt ist. Wir reden hier von einem Neupreis, der ca. die Hälfte einer Tagesmiete ausmacht, das darf man als Eigentümer schon einmal investieren. Die Elektrik des Hauses braucht dringend eine Überarbeitung, Stromkabel sind mit Isolierband repariert und die Hauptsicherung schaltet den gesamten Hausstrom ab, sobald mehr als 1-2 Herdplatten benötigt werden. Sauberkeit war oberflächlich in Ordnung, das Innere der Besteckschubladen war verschmutzt. Die Einrichtung wirkt etwas zusammengewürfelt. Insgesamt bräuchte das schöne Haus deutlich mehr Pflege und ein paar Investitionen, so stimmt das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis leider nicht.

Joli quartier résidentiel. Nombreuses promenades à pieds au départ de la maison. Très propre……merci Céline! Maison bien équipée mais ameublement plus hétéroclite que joli. A noter que l’intimité dans le jardin n’est garantie que jusqu’à hauteur des terrasses des 2 maisons, le reste du jardin étant d’un seul tenant. Ceci peut poser problème en cas de chien vagabond . Très joli jardin à part ça! Globalement excellent séjour!

La Grange is a cosy wine bar in the centre of La-Croix-Valmer. On Friday evenings there is a cosy atmosphere with live music while enjoying tapas and delicious wines

Tip from the expert

One unforgettable walk I can recommend is the one over Cap Lardier. The path starts at Plage de Gigaro and has beautiful views along the coastline. The start of the walk goes up and down along the various bays on a narrow path, sometimes over the rocks on the beach. Just before Pin Blanc the path climbs a little, but it doesn't get any tougher. On top of Pin Blanc you can turn left and walk back inland to the starting point. Don't forget to do this route with good walking shoes!
