About this holiday home

This beautifully designed villa is set in an oasis of greenery, with plenty of privacy. You start the day with a dip in the large, heatable (inform us when booking) pool or some yoga exercises on the grass. And then quickly move on to the covered terrace for a sumptuous breakfast with panoramic views! The bedrooms with large beds each have a private bathroom and the interior with ornate decoration is particularly charming. The house is unfortunately not suitable for wheelchair users.

Entrecasteaux, just 15 minutes' drive from picturesque Lorgues with its famous Provencal market on Tuesdays, has a timeless allure. For true foodies, an early visit to the market is a must in high season. Within an hour you can reach Sainte-Maxime, where the most beautiful beaches and the ferry to the famous Saint-Tropez await you. Art lovers will find refuge in picturesque Aix-en-Provence, a city full of colourful mansions, inviting restaurants and impressive museums. The Gorges de Verdon, aka the European Grand Canyon, with the beautiful Lac de Sainte-Croix, can be reached in half an hour. Golf enthusiasts will enjoy the nearby Brignoles golf course, Golf de Barbaroux. The villa, also available for an enchanting 3-night off-season stay, offers an oasis of luxury. To avoid traffic jams, book this villa from Friday to Friday during the high season. In short, a perfect retreat for a wonderful (mid)week holiday (or wonderful weeks!) in enchanting Provence .

Lovely villa and gorgeous pool - paid extra to have it heated, which was necessary at this time of year. Amongst beautiful surroundings. Cool kitchen, good showers and lovely terrace. Alia - our local contact was attentive and superb with great advice for places to visit etc. Would have liked there to be 6 outside dining chairs - there were 4 (we were 5, so I had to layer up cushions to take height up on a low patio lounge chair). Bedding would benefit from an upgrade - it was pretty tired and small for the beds!. It is a fair hike into Entrecasteaux ... we hired electric mountain bikes to cope with the steep long unmade drive out of the forest. Recommend Nature Evasion near Lorgues who were fab as were their bikes (they even delivered them to us!). Lots of lovely little towns nearby to explore and some great markets.

Een heerlijk huis met omheinde tuin. Groot perceel en zeer rustig gelegen in de bossen en heuvels. Mooi groot zwembad en een fijne uitgebreide keuken met nespresso machine. Niet op loopafstand van supermarkt of bakker, daar heb je de auto voor nodig. Leuke dorpjes en marktjes in de omgeving.

Prima locatie, mooie ligging, fijn als je van privacy houdt. Jammer dat de vaatwasser al een tijdje niet voldoende functioneerde, serviesgoed had last van aanslag en zag er niet schoon uit; mijn dochter heeft echt heel veel moeten afwassen. De filter is later door de host wel vervangen, zout bijgevuld, maar laten we dit zeggen: tijd voor een nieuwe. Hij werkt gewoon echt niet lekker meer. Fijn contact met de host overigens! En verder: heerlijk bed, mooie badkamers en prachtig zwembad. En een airco die het goed doet, dus helemaal tevreden.
