About this holiday home

The stylish villa offers beautiful views and air conditioning at walking distance from picturesque Callian. Through the large entrance hall (a few steps) you reach the cosy living room and kitchen with French doors to the huge terrace. You can enjoy a drink of your choice on the lovely lounge sofas during long summer evenings. The pool is downstairs in the spacious enclosed garden. Enjoy!.

The villa is located near the lovely village of Callian. One of the prettier villages in the region and with a castle! You are half an hour's drive from the beaches at Fréjus and Saint-Raphaël and 5 minutes from the lovely swimming lake Lac de St. Cassien. Hire a pedalo at Lac St. Cassien, go rafting or hiking in the Gorges du Verdon and laze on the wide sandy beaches of the Côte d'Azur (Fréjus and Cannes). Golfers can go straight to the nearby golf course of Tourrettes: Golf de Terre Blanche. Children will enjoy a day at the tree-climbing park in Montauroux (Parcabout). A perfect villa for a wonderful week's holiday (or wonderful weeks!) in Provence! In high season you avoid the traffic jams, because this villa can be booked from Sunday to Sunday.

This is a beautiful house situated on a lovely property offering fabulous views. The home itself is well-appointed & very comfortable. You can see the old village of Callian directly from the bed in the master bedroom, which is very romantic. The property is private, peaceful, & we really enjoyed the grounds + the pool. The only drawback is that although you are theoretically less than a 15 minute walk away from the old village of Callian, you absolutely cannot walk there. You have to drive / hire a taxi/private driver. Also, if you have a large SUV, it would be extremely challenging and maybe even impossible to access the property without damaging your car. There are plenty of excellent grocery store options + restaurants nearby. We did a day trip to Cannes, and it took us about an hour to get there. Frejus is a bit closer. Sara from the property management company was excellent. She offered tips, was responsive, & really went out of her way to help us.

Dit huis heeft alles voor een fijne vakantie: sfeervol ingericht, voldoende ruimte voor 4 volwassenen en 2 kleine kinderen, prachtig uitzicht vanuit woonkamer, terras en slaapkamers, heerlijk zwembad (zelfs eind oktober nog te gebruiken) met voldoende ligstoelen en plekjes om in de schaduw te zitten. Erg privé. Keuken zeer goed uitgerust. We hadden een heerlijke week. Bedankt!

Fantastisch huis, met en schitterend uitzicht op zowel Callian als het dal. Heerlijk airco op de warme dagen, de slaapkamers waren koel. Erg veilig dat het terras afgesloten is met hekjes met kinderslot. 

Tip from the expert

Definitely spend a day with the kids at OKWIDE beach (the beach by the bridge) on the recreational lake Lac de St. Cassien. There is plenty to do here: water climbing course, pedalos, buggy rides, walks etc
