Near the idyllic Le Plan-de-la-Tour lies this cosy gîte, hidden in unspoilt nature in a characteristic hamlet (hameau) of 15 houses. The cottage is part of a lovingly restored, 500-year-old typical Provençal farmhouse, surrounded by cork oaks and pine trees in the protected Massif des Maures Natural Park. Enjoy the large private terrace with beautiful views of nature. On the estate there is a heated swimming pool with sun beds, a boules court and table tennis.
This picturesque Hameau is a small hamlet of 15 characteristic houses that is part of Le Plan de la Tour, a typical southern French village where you will find shady squares, a weekly market, shops and restaurants. Le Plan de la Tour offers entertainment all year round, including traditional festivals, (wine) tastings, exhibitions, dance and theatre and petanque tournaments. The region is surrounded by vineyards and wineries, which are happy to let you taste the most delicious wines. The location of this Hameau can truly be called unique.
On one side is the vast nature reserve Le Massif des Maures and on the other you will find the boulevards and beaches of Sainte Maxime. The Maures mountains are densely covered with chestnut, cork, oak and pine trees. A circular drive leads you along steep roads through the pristine and desolate mountains with breathtaking landscapes. You will find villages such as Collobrières, famous for its chestnut jam and candied chestnuts, the 12th-century Carthusian monastery Chartreuse de la Verne and la Garde-Freinet. The artisan village of Grimaud offers stunning views over the massif and the coast.
The Hameau dates back to 1600 and consists of two Provençal stone buildings housing several completely renovated holiday flats. A picturesque ensemble with 15 accommodations. There is a large heated swimming pool open from April to the end of October. You can also indulge in a game of petanque or table tennis
