About this holiday home

Staying in this detached old sheepfold feels like stepping into a time machine, but without having to give up contemporary comforts. When you reach accommodation via the sloping path through nature, the friendly owner is already waiting for you. Behind the cottage is a fenced swimming pool (owner sometimes uses it) amid olive trees and there are several terraces. Peace and privacy in a prime location! .

Cotignac, just 3.5 km from the accommodation, enchants visitors with its picturesque feel. The centre welcomes you with centuries-old squares surrounded by plane trees, where cosy restaurants, bars and boutiques await. The town rests at the foot of an overhanging cliff, which is illuminated at night for a magical spectacle. From Saint-Tropez to the green heart of Provence, the Var embodies stunning nature, fascinating sights and a blissful climate. Iconic destinations such as Saint-Tropez and fascinating cities such as Aix-en-Provence and Cannes are within easy reach, just an hour away from the accommodation .

Der Pool ist sensationell. Das Häuschen ist etwas abseits und sehr ruhig gelegen. Schade nur, dass es, anders als beschrieben, kein WLAN gab, was etwas ärgerlich war.

Grundsätzlich hat es uns im Ferienhaus "La Bergerie" sehr gut gefallen. Die Vermieterin war freundlich und sehr bemüht, uns alle Wünsche zu erfüllen. Das Haus selbst ist rustikal und hat einen individuellen Charakter. Der Pool ist toll, das Grundstück ist riesig und die Lage ist traumhaft. Leider waren bei unserem Aufenthalt heftige Waldbrände in der Region - dafür kann man aber niemandem von Villa for You einen Vorwurf machen. Ende Juli hatten wir abends mit Mücken zu kämpfen, im Haus waren recht viele Ameisen unterwegs, und eine Geschirrspülmaschine und eine Klimaanlage (zumindest im Schlafzimmer) wären schön gewesen. Der Weg nach Cotinac war mit dem Fahrrad doch beschwerlicher als angenommen - die Wege waren teilweise nicht vollständig asphaltiert und es geht teilweise steil bergauf. Deshalb gibt es von uns in Summe "nur" vier von fünf Punkten.

Der Weg zum Haus ist etwas holprig weil es etwas abseits liegt. Aber inmitten der Natur. Tolles Schwimmbad, ansonsten alles etwas einfacher und älter, aber es hatt alles was man braucht.
