About this holiday home
Beautiful and spacious villa in the lovely village of Lorgues. You can walk straight from the villa to the bakery or the restaurant in the cosy village of Lorgues. It's easy to park your car in your large garden of 15,000 m2, where the children can play football or swim in the private swimming pool all day long. From the covered terrace you have a view of the swimming pool and the garden and you can finally read that one book or plan your days in this beautiful place
The villa is within walking distance of the village of Lorgues, ideal for a walk followed by a nice long lunch in one of the restaurants. In Lorgues, in addition to the large Tuesday market, there is also a market on Fridays, where brocante/antiques are sold. In summer, there are several evenings with live music and evening markets. There is always something to do! Conviviality within walking distance!
The villa is ideally situated for a wonderful holiday, within 1 hour (to the South) you are at the most beautiful beaches of the Côte d'Azur and within 1 hour (to the North) you are at the impressive Gorges de Verdon (climbing, scrambling and rafting!), the European version of the Grand Canyon. Around Lorgues, it will be hard to choose which village to visit, they are all equally beautiful! You may visit the perched village of Tourtour, also known as the village in the sky. Have lunch in the charming village of Flayosc or the cave village of Villecroze and visit a tree-climbing park in Vidauban or Flassans-sur-Issole. For culture and coolness (!), head to the imposing Cistercian abbey of Le Thoronet. Near Fréjus and Saint-Tropez are the Côte d'Azur's most beautiful sandy beaches. Prefer to tee off? There are several 18-hole golf courses in the immediate vicinity: Domaine Saint-Endréol near La Motte and Golf Barbaroux near Brignoles. A canoe trip on the river Argens near Entrecasteaux (within 10 minutes you can reach the pick-up point by car) is a must, a personal recommendation because you feel like you're in the Amazon. And need we mention that pale pink rosé? Plenty of choice in this area and they are all equally delicious!
