About this holiday home

The charm of an old farmhouse with an inner courtyard and a large authentic barn! Completely renovated, but retaining its original charm and you notice this immediately when you drive up; a large courtyard, with under the barn a generous veranda with spa bath and a lovely sitting area. Inside the house a large living room with dining kitchen, and a total of 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The downstairs bedroom is lovely and cool with French doors to the rear terrace with deck chairs and voiles.

Walk through enchanting forests and discover the charming towns of Prayssac and Puy L'Éveque along the Lot river. There is great fishing and a cycling or hiking trip through nature is also worthwhile. Renowned wineries in the immediate area are known for their excellent Cahors wines. Go kayaking on the picturesque Dordogne river, discover the splendour of Domme, Sarlat and Montpazier, and let your taste buds dance at the lively evening markets with local delicacies. A world of experiences awaits you! .

Tip from the homeowner

If you love nature and silence, this is a house for you. Located on a hill, originally a hameau and next to this house there is 1 other gite and the owner's house. One grants you all privacy, but we are there for you if needed. We ourselves have 3 super-friendly golden retrievers, Flo the cat and 2 well-behaved horses. Your well-behaved dog can of course come along, provided he/she can get along with our dogs and leaves our cat and horses alone. Because of its location on a slope, this accommodation is not suitable for families with small children and is therefore geared more to couples

Tip from the expert

Visit the towns of Prayssac and Puy L' Eveque, both located on the Lot river. You can fish, hike and cycle here. Visit one of the many wineries that make the region famous: the Cahors wines. Go kayaking on the Dordogne River, visit the towns of Domme, Sarlat and Montpazier but most of all go to one of the many night markets and taste the local delicacies
