With a quiet location, a well-equipped kitchen and a private pool, it is ideal for families or couples. The owners, with three friendly golden retrievers, a cat and two horses, offer privacy but are ready for questions when needed. Due to its hillside location, the accommodation is not suitable for children under 5 years old. Enjoy the serene atmosphere and relax on the various terraces overlooking the valley and forests! Airco in the house!.

Walk through enchanting forests and discover the charming towns of Prayssac and Puy L'Éveque along the Lot River. There is excellent fishing, and a cycling or hiking trip through nature is also worthwhile. Renowned wineries in the immediate area are known for their superb Cahors wines. Go kayaking on the picturesque Dordogne river, discover the splendour of Domme, Sarlat and Montpazier, and let your taste buds dance at the lively evening markets with local delicacies. Het was een geweldige vakantie, alles waar we op gehoopt hadden en meer. De gastheer en vrouw zijn echt een leuk stel, harde werkers en doen hun best om het helemaal naar je zin te maken. ze hebben een groot stuk grond waarop meerdere gebouwen staan, 1 waar ze zelf wonen en 2 die verhuurd worden als vakantiewoning, elk met andere kenmerken. Wij hadden het grote huis met veranda en zwembad. Echt een geweldig uitzicht daarbij, uitkijkend over een vallei waar de paarden lopen. Het huis zelf wordt netjes opgeruimd en schoon aangetroffen bij aankomst en bedden opgemaakt, met handdoeken en alle voorzieningen die je hoopt, compleet ingerichte keuken en woonkamer en slaapkamers en 2 badkamers. de veranda is echt heel groot en heerlijk om te vertoeven in de zon en in de schaduw. Het was echt een droomplek. De stilte (alleen maar natuurgeluiden) die ik heb ervaren is echt heeeeeeerlijk en ga ik zeker missen. bedankt Jaqueline en Jacob voor deze heerlijke weken.

Geweldig ontvangst, een fijn huis. De eigenaren zijn fijne mensen, heel gastvrij. Een gezellige beestenboel en mooie rustige lokatie. Genoeg te doen in de nabije omgeving.

Tip from the homeowner

Montcabrier is much less touristy than the better-known villages in the Dordogne, but at least as atmospheric. There are beautiful routes through forests and valleys, for example to Bonaguil, an impressive medieval castle 5 km away

Tip from the expert

Great location with a beautiful view! Highly recommended for anyone who likes peace. The surroundings are worthwhile for long walks in the forest, and the many small towns all have their own charm
