About this holiday home

The manor with 2 turrets and a garden is located on the outskirts of Duravel. It extends over 4 floors including a charming TV room and a balcony overlooking the village. On the top floor is an extra bedroom and a games room with pool table. The swimming pool at the back offers plenty of privacy, complete with terrace. For questions, you can contact the caretaker. There is even a meal and breakfast service available on site! .

Strolling through charming Duravel, you soon discover a local café/restaurant and even a small supermarket. Just 5 km away is Puy l'Evêque with its beautiful medieval centre, several restaurants and a large supermarket. On Friday mornings, Prayssac offers a lively farmers' market, while on Saturday mornings you can stroll around Cahors' extensive market. After a tasty lunch in the old town, admire the Pont Valantré. Famous for its Malbec wines, Cahors is home to numerous wineries worth visiting. The surrounding area offers an abundance of activities; you will be short of time! .

Our family of 5 absolutely adored this place and town. Helen and Kevin are super helpful, friendly and super cool! We would love to come back someday! The pictures and description of the place were extremely accurate and its beauty is relaxing and calm. They even opened the pool early in the season and we took full advantage of some great swimming. Thank you so much! Happy trails!

Everything you ever wanted in a French country house in a simply beautiful location . Fabulous , quintessential manor house in a wonderful location on the side of a small hill overlooking the beautiful village of Duravel - and was an easy walk to bakery and small local store . House was spacious with plenty of room for our party of 8 adults . Great areas outside to relax with a drink of local wine . Inside decor was superb and fully equipped kitchen made for some great meals at night . Matt was a great host and welcomed and briefed us very well on arrival. Some working instructions for some appliances eg. washing machine and oven would be helpful . Also as our group of 8 stayed for a week a change of towels would have been welcomed mid week as there is very limited clothesline space .We didn’t use dryer as you can only run one appliance at a time .

Such a beautiful house and stunning pool. Very spacious and better than the photos. Celine and Matt were very friendly, helpful and responsive.
