About this holiday home

The manor with 2 turrets and a garden is located on the outskirts of Duravel. It extends over 4 floors including a charming TV room and a balcony overlooking the village. On the top floor is an extra bedroom and a games room with pool table. The swimming pool at the back offers plenty of privacy, complete with terrace. For questions, you can contact the caretaker. There is even a meal and breakfast service available on site! .

Strolling through charming Duravel, you soon discover a local café/restaurant and even a small supermarket. Just 5 km away is Puy l'Evêque with its beautiful medieval centre, several restaurants and a large supermarket. On Friday mornings, Prayssac offers a lively farmers' market, while on Saturday mornings you can stroll around Cahors' extensive market. After a tasty lunch in the old town, admire the Pont Valantré. Famous for its Malbec wines, Cahors is home to numerous wineries worth visiting. The surrounding area offers an abundance of activities; you will be short of time! .

Tout simplement magnifique. cette propriété et l’expérience globale ont dépassé nos attentes. Helen est une hôte remarquable, proactive, amicale et communique très bien. L’emplacement est spectaculaire, l’espace de vie extérieur est parfait pour dîner en plein air. Tout simplement merveilleux,exactement comme annoncé et nous la recommandons fortement.

La location est véritablement exceptionnelle: le manoir est magnifique, plein de charme, avec une très belle vue sur le village. L’ensemble est meublé avec beaucoup de goût et offre un cadre particulièrement agréable. En revanche, certains aspects sont regrettables compte tenu du standing de la propriété et surtout du prix de la location. La propreté laisse à désirer à certains endroits et mériterait une attention beaucoup plus rigoureuse. L’équipement de la cuisine, notamment les ustensiles et les casseroles, ne correspond pas au standard que l’on pourrait légitimement attendre d’une propriété de ce niveau et au tarif pratiqué. L’entretien de la piscine est également insuffisant. Le matériel mis à disposition est assez limité et l’absence d’un aspirateur de piscine est regrettable, notamment pour maintenir correctement la propreté du bassin pendant le séjour. Enfin, les personnes ayant une véritable phobie des araignées devraient être prévenues : leur présence est assez fréquente dans le manoir et ses alentours.

The house and gardens were absolutely beautiful, and the views were stunning. Duravel is a lovely small village, it was a short walk to buy bread and croissants from the fantastic artisan bakery. We were 7 adults and had lots of space. The house is even more beautiful in reality than it is in the photos. I would heartily recommend and would love to go back.
