About this holiday home

On the outskirts of Villefranche du Périgort, you will find this beautiful and extremely cosy holiday home. The large veranda overlooks the garden and swimming pool, and has sublime views over the valley. You walk straight into the town with several restaurants, terraces and cafés. The surrounding area is characterised by its many forests and hiking trails. The region is called the Périgord Noir and is known for its mushrooms, game and honey. Cahors is the neighbouring wine region.

Villefranche du Périgort is located at the tip of the Dordogne region, bordering the Lot and Lot et Garonne regions. At 25km to the north are the tourist towns of St Cyprien and Domme, both on the Dordogne River where you can canoe, cycle and walk. Slightly to the south (15km) is the Lot river with the Lot valley which presents a very different picture of vineyards and picturesque villages.

Een warm welkom door Bram en Margje. Het huis is heerlijk! En van alle gemakken voorzien.  Maar vooral een dikke tien voor de ruime veranda en het prachtige uitzicht. Tel daar een omheinde tuin met heerlijk zwembad en diverse zitjes bij op en je hebt alle ingrediënten voor een heerlijk verblijf. Dorpje op loopafstand met twee supermarktjes en een bakkerij is ook prettig.

Les propriétaires nous ont accueillis dans cette bien jolie bâtisse rénovée et finement décorée. Entièrement équipée il y a tout ce qu'il faut sur place pour passer un bon séjour. La vue est magnifique et paisible, avec aucun voisin à 360 degrés. Le jardin est arboré et entretenu avec tout le nécessaire pour se reposer. Il faut cependant préciser que les propriétaires ne sont pas sur le même terrain mais au sein de la même maison lors de la location, il est primordial que cela soit mentionné. Nous ne les avons ni croisé ni entendu ce qui est important de préciser. Ce fut un très bon séjour périgourdin !

Wir hatten 2 wunderbare Wochen in einem fantastischen Ferienhaus. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll und liebevoll bis ins kleinste Detail eingerichtet. Das Wohnzimmer lädt zum Verweilen ein, die Sofas sind urgemütlich, der Blick von der Terrasse ist unglaublich und in der Küche mangelt es an nichts - an wirklich gar nichts. Wir haben es genossen, zu kochen und den Abend in einem traumhaften Ambiente zu verbringen. Die Umgebung lädt zu Ausflügen ein und man kann einiges entdecken. Die Gastgeber sind super herzlich und kümmerten sich darum, dass wir einen Traumurlaub hatten. Wir erlebten wirklich viele Momente, in denen wir gespürt haben, dass die Gastgeber alles tun, damit wir uns wohlfühlen. Es war rundum perfekt.
