About this holiday home

This house is perfect for families with children. It has a big garden and an enclosed swimming pool. It is very quietly located, yet not far from the major tourist attractions on the Dordogne River. The house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a spacious garden with many seating areas, and a large swimming pool with sunbeds. It is perfect for lovely walks in the beautiful Surro, which includes lots of woods and countryside. You will completely relax here and enjoy all this beauty!.

Within half an hour, you can reach the Dordogne River. Visit Domme with its magnificent viewpoint over the valley, Sarlat with its historic center and Saturday morning market, Saint Cirque Lapopie, and Rocamadour as being 2 of the most beautiful villages in France. You will run out of time!.

We hebben terecht genoten van de rust in het vakantiehuis.Sylvie is heel aangenaam en vriendelijk.Het zwembad is echt heel groot en mooi.Alles wat we nodig hebben was voorhanden.

Très bon accueil par Sylvie avec des une Cagette de produits de son potager. Sylvie nous a permis de venir plus tôt que l’heure prévu pour profiter de la piscine. La piscine est d’ailleurs très bien entretenue ! Sylvie est très réactif quand on fait appelle à elle. Soucieuse de proposer une bonne expérience de ces convives elle accepte très bien les différents retours que j’ai pu lui faire dans le but d’améliorer le bien être des vacanciers.

Het vakantiehuis ligt zeer afgelegen en rustig. Een ideale plek om tot rust te komen. Het bevat een zeer groot terrein met een aantal (afgesloten en vervallen) bijgebouwen. Grote ‘voortuin’ met appelbomen en prachtig zwembad met hek direct achter het huis. Het huis is ruim, maar niet heel luxe. Het voorziet in alle behoeften. Grote slaapkamers, functionerende badkamers en een oké keuken voorzien van veel servies en apparaten. De inrichting is gedateerd, soms kapot en niet heel schoon. Voor ons geen probleem maar daar moet je wel rekening mee houden. De landelijke ligging van de locatie is prachtig. Wel zijn er veel vliegen, dazen, wespen en muggen actief en rent er af en toe een muis of salamander door de woonkamer. Wij hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad!

Tip from the homeowner

Start your day with a delicious breakfast in the morning sun at the large table outside on the terrace. Children can enjoy the swings, sandpit, and slide in the garden. There is a large covered veranda, where you can also enjoy sitting when the weather is less clement, but you also have access to a large BBQ here

Tip from the expert

Visit the great castles on the Dordogne River and go canoeing with Cenac as your starting point. Sail down the river with the current for nearly 12 km, admiring the castles and villages that pass by. At the end, you will be picked up by the bus and taken back to your starting point. Truly a wonderful experience!
