This beautifully renovated farmhouse from the 1823 is set in the countryside at the edge of the woods in a dreamy and quiet location and offers a spacious living room, a top-equipped kitchen, four separate bedrooms, ideal for eight people. The renovated bathroom has a freestanding French bathtub and separate shower. The decor is authentic and you imagine yourself in truly fairytale home.

The family ski resort Sonnenkopf is known as one of the few natural snow areas thanks to its ideal altitude (up to 2,300 metres). Thanks to its ideal topographic location, the Sonnenkopf is very snow-sure. The nearby free ski bus takes you safely to Stuben, from where you can access the famous Arlberg ski area with Lech, Zürs, Warth and St Anton. In summer, take the gondola lift to Sonnenkopf and enjoy unforgettable moments at 2,000 metres above sea level. Young and old love visiting the family and adventure mountain Sonnenkopf. While the children have fun in the FABULOUS BEAR LAND with rafting, bear caves and many do-stations, the adults are spoilt with daily specials, cakes and ice creams in the mountain restaurant. Or take a trip to Brandnertal Bike Park for a day of mountain biking .

Wir waren zu acht im Waldhäusle sehr gut gefallen. Der Wohn und Essbereich ist sehr gemütlich. Besonders mit dem Kamin und der Sofa Sitzecke ist er schon etwas besonderes. Es ist halt ein altes Bauernhaus, das modernisiert wurde. Die Decken im Obergeschoss sind wie in alten Bauernhäusern, normal sehr niedrig, was schon heißt, dass man sich den Kopf anschlagen kann. Aber das ist voll okay. Die Betten waren super bequem, alle haben sehr gut geschlafen. Es war alles sauber und gut ausgestattet. Uns hat es eigentlich an nichts gefehlt. Noch zu sagen wäre das alles Durchgangszimmer sind, also nicht so richtig geeignet für Pärchenurlaub. Dies sind alles Dinge, die uns nicht daran hindern werden, wieder zu kommen. Es war wirklich schön.

We had a lovely stay here. The house was really clean and very cute, and we enjoyed our time in the area. The location is about a 30-minute drive from St Anton, but you can access the ski area from Stuben in around 15 minutes, which worked well for us. Just as an FYI for future guests, there isn’t a huge amount immediately around the property in terms of restaurants or shops. The building is older and full of character, but with eight people staying the floors were quite creaky at night, so noise travels a bit between rooms. Also worth noting for taller guests that some of the ceilings are quite low — we had a few accidental head bumps moving around! One thing that would make the stay even better would be a washing machine, especially for ski trips when it’s helpful to wash gear during the week. Overall though we had a really nice stay.

Der Check in hat gut funktioniert. Die Erwartungen vor Ort wurden leider nicht erfüllt. Fast alle Zimmer sind Durchgangszimmer, das geht aus den Fotos nicht hervor. Für enge Freundesgruppen oder Familienmitglieder mag das gut gehen. Die Sauberkeit hält sich leider in Grenzen, das liegt jedoch auch am Alter des Hauses. Die Anbindung zum Skigebiet nach Stuben und zum Sonnenkopf ist mit dem Bus sehr gut nutzbar.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche in dem alten Haus. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut, fehlende Dinge wie z.B. Wasserkrug wurden umgehend nachgebracht. Die Ansprechperson vor Ort war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Haus ist wunderschön, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, wir haben alle sehr gut in den Betten geschlafen, werden es auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Our beautiful 18th-century farmhouse is furnished with great attention to detail and partly with old furniture, the room height can be only about 2 metres in some rooms. The house is heated by a stove and electric heating.

On Arlberg, 88 state-of-the-art cable cars and lifts offer the highest standard and comfort. 305 km of marked pistes for all levels, sporting challenges in the backcountry, snowboard fun parks, carving areas and many cosy meeting places provide variety and fun. There is a lovely bakery Albrecht in Dalaas, where you can get delicious fresh bread in the morning. In summer, go to the natural swimming pool in Klosterle. Lovely place for young and old to enjoy the fresh mountain air
