This makes this ski area very popular for families with children. Want to spend a day skiing somewhere else? The Gasteinertal, Zell am See and the Hochkönig region are within easy reach. The Rauriser valley is also known for its many touring and cross-country skiing opportunities and winter hiking trails. Within 30 minutes you can reach Kaprun's famous glacier. You can ski all year round here! In Rauris, you have access to a hiking network with over 295 kilometers of marked trails. There are hiking trails for all levels. You can choose from day hikes, themed hikes and multi-day hikes. Guided hikes are also possible. Rauris is located in a water-rich area, with waterfalls, mountain lakes, small streams and brooks. A visit to Wasserspielplatz Summerpark Rauris is worthwhile, as is a refreshing dip at the Freibad - Sonnblickbad Rauris.
