About this holiday home

What a beautiful location this is. The mountain road curves higher and higher, leading you to this detached holiday home at the end of the road. Peace, space and privacy are assured. The sun is turning around the house through the day for you to endlessly enjoy the beautiful mountain panorama from the terrace. The large downstairs kitchen is fully equipped. This leaves the living room on the first floor for relaxing, or a maybe a game of table tennis in the playroom?.

The location is very central in both summer and winter. In a few minutes by car, you can be in the popular ski area of Zell am See, Kaprun or the snow-sure glacier of the Kitzsteinhorn (3029m). In summer too, the area offers many opportunities for golfing, hiking, swimming or cycling. In short, the ideal exclusive location, all in atmosphere, to enjoy a well-deserved holiday!" The chalet is easily accessible via a mountain road, the last 200 metres of which are unpaved and steep. Although the road is always cleared of snow in winter, it is compulsory to put on snow chains at the bottom (near the church). If uncertain, it is wise to ask the caretaker about this.

Good to know

  • Charging an e-car at the accommodation is not possible and not allowed. Should you nevertheless charge your car illegally, the house owner/manager may, without discussion, hold you responsible for any damage and charge a fine

  • Access the house you have to go through 200 meter of unpaved road

  • Because of the peace and quiet and possible neighbours, noise nuisance after 22:00 hour is not allowed/prohibited in this holiday home

  • Includes a mandatory mobility levy. This entitles you to the Guest Mobility Ticket for unlimited travel on regional public transport

  • It is strictly forbidden to organise any student party, bachelor party or drinking party in this house

Zeer mooie locatie. Veel rust en heel mooi gelegen. In het huis is eigenlijk ook alles goed voor elkaar. Beetje oudbollig.

Weg er naar toe drama in het donker en bij sneeuw val! Ruim huis, alles wat we nodig hadden was er. Wat ons niet beviel was de ligging met veel sneeuw val. Naar het huis toe haarspeld bochten zonder railing en op veel plekken wonen geen mensen dus wordt ook de weg niet vrij gemaakt! Het is een bergweg waar je elkaar niet kan passeren dus in z’n achteruit de berg weer op …. als dat lukt! Iedere dag stonden er wel mensen met problemen omdat ze niet verder konden of durfden, zelf een keer 2 auto’s met de neus tegen elkaar aan, konden door de gladdigheid en de smalle weg elkaar niet ontwijken!

When snowing it's definitely needed to put snow chains. I would have liked a bit more knowledge about the difference in supermarkets and restaurants but it's all to be found.

Tip from the expert

The little train down in the village, shuttles back and forth between Mittersill and Zell am See. Great fun to do and relaxed to enjoy the surroundings. So feel free to get off in Niedernsill for a refreshing dip in the public nature pool or in Uttendorf at the swimming lake
