Welcome to this spacious and cosy holiday home in the heart of the beautiful Salzburgerland! Surrounded by impressive mountains and close to the large and popular ski resorts, this is the ideal destination for an unforgettable vacation in any season. In winter, you can enjoy endless snow fun, and in summer, it's a real paradise for nature lovers. Whether you opt for an active holiday or prefer relaxation, here you will experience the best of Austria. Including free Wi-Fi and parking facilities.
The holiday home is located in the idyllic village of Mariapfarr, in the southern part of the Salzburgerland, at about 1,100 meters above sea level, surrounded by picturesque mountain peaks. Mariapfarr counts as one of the sunniest villages in Austria, but is also a true skiing paradise! It is the ideal starting point for the well-known Lungo ski area with the ski resorts Grosseck/Speiereck with 50 km of ski slopes, Fanningberg with ca. 25 km (both less than 8 kilometres from the holiday home), Katschberg-Aineck with 80 km and Obertauern with more than 100 km of ski slopes.
There is also plenty to do off-piste in the winter resort of Mariapfarr. The region around Mariapfarr offers several cross-country ski trails and ski tours through the snowy winter landscape, and at the Lignitz cross-country ski centre you can also try out laser biathlon.
Mariapfarr is also the ideal destination for a successful summer holiday. Surrounded by rolling alpine meadows, imposing mountains and crystal-clear mountain lakes, it offers almost everything for an active holiday. Not only can you swim in the more than 60 sparkling mountain lakes in Salzburg Lungau, but also in the many public swimming pools, such as the Samsunn Vitality and Wellness Centre in Mariapfarr, which offers plenty of swimming fun and relaxation with an outdoor pool and a modern sauna landscape in both winter and summer!
There are plenty of shops, supermarkets and various restaurants directly in the village or in the neighbouring communities of Mauterndorf and Tamsweg.

Visit the Lungau Arena in St. Michael im Lungau, the place for sports, fun, and adventure for the whole family! Jump around on the various trampolines, test your agility on the challenging skills course, and enjoy the many playful and active movement stations. Sports enthusiasts can indulge in beach volleyball, as well as tennis, padel, and soccer fields. And that's not all: in winter, the Lungau Arena transforms into a cozy winter wonderland with a beautiful ice skating rink and delightful curling opportunities. In less than a 15-minute drive, you can find yourself in this versatile recreational paradise!

A recommended spot for relaxation and fun for the whole family is a visit to the Erlebnis-Therme Amadé in Altenmarkt im Pongau in Salzburgerland. This modern spa features a spacious swimming area with indoor and outdoor pools, a spectacular looping waterslide, and a unique saltwater pool. For added relaxation, there is an extensive sauna world with various saunas, steam baths, and relaxation areas. The spa is set against the beautiful backdrop of the Salzburg Alps and is easily accessible: it takes about 45 minutes by car to reach it
