Embach is a sunny mountain village on a high plateau on the edge of the Hohe Tauern National Park - ideal for nature lovers who like it quiet and unspoilt. In winter, there are family-friendly ski lifts and cross-country ski trails on site, as well as winter hiking trails in a marvellous landscape. In summer, hikes start directly around the village, e.g. to the Kapelleralm with beautiful panoramic views. The region is also ideal for day trips to well-known highlights in Salzburger Land

Plan an easy family hike in the Hohe Tauern National Park holiday region - there are many quiet paths around Embach with lots of nature and great views, ideal for relaxing breaks along the way. Alternatively, a trip to the nearby Rauris Valley, which is a very popular starting point for nature experiences and excursions into the mountains, is well worthwhile
