By moonwood we mean the wood from trees that are cut down around Christmas just before the new moon. This wood is extremely robust, durable, dimensionally stable and also particularly resistant to pests. Natural, glue-free, free of pollutants. The originality of the wood has been preserved as much as possible. That is why glue joints have been dispensed with and no chemical varnishes or additives used. The processed wood is free of allergens, largely metal-free and antistatic. With care and craftsmanship, this chalet was built to be compatible, durable and timeless for people and the environment. Just 20 minutes from the accommodation, you can take the Porsche Design gondola to the Schmitten ski area in winter. Both beginners and families with children get their money's worth on the quiet slopes near the Niedernsill lifts. Here, there is a beginner's lift with a length of about 300 m and a drag lift with a length of about 600 m. By car, you can also easily reach the ski areas of Zell am See-Kaprun and the Kitzbühel Alps. The recreational lake in Niedernsill brings wonderful cooling on hot summer days.
