In summer, paths lead through forests and alpine meadows to beautiful viewpoints. Popular nearby destinations include the Liechtensteinklamm gorge, the Eisriesenwelt, Floris adventure trail and the Wasserwelt Wagrain. One place that we particularly appreciate is the Grafenberg. There you will find quiet paths, places with great views and cosy places to rest - ideal for a relaxing walk in the midst of nature. For a short stopover, we recommend one of the mountain huts, which often offer home-made snacks
Tip from the expert
Lake Rupertisee above Flachau is a quiet insider tip. The small mountain lake is hidden between rocks and mountain pines and is particularly beautiful in the morning hours. The short climb is worth it for the peaceful atmosphere and the sweeping views over the surrounding mountains
