The chalet apartment is located in the idyllic village of Piesendorf, in the middle of the beautiful Salzburgerland. Surrounded by the impressive mountains of the Hohe Tauern and the Kitzbühel Alps, this is the ideal destination for an active and relaxing holiday, during both summer and winter.
Within a few minutes you can reach the region's most famous ski areas, such as the Schmittenhöhe in Zell am See (77 km of slopes), the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier (60 km of slopes and absolutely snow-sure) and the Maiskogel ski area (20 km of slopes, perfect for families). The vast Skicircus Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang-Fieberbrunn ski area, the Weißsee Gletscherwelt and the fantastic Hochkönig ski area are also quickly accessible. The local family ski area Naglköpfl is perfect for beginners and children. As a cross-country skier, you can benefit from 27 km of trails in Piesendorf and the surrounding area, with a direct connection to the 200 km-long Pinzga trail.
In summer, Piesendorf is a true paradise for hikers, cyclists and mountain bikers. You will find plenty of routes, beautiful nature and cosy rest stops. For cooling down, there are several public swimming pools and bathing lakes in the area.
The city centre of Piesendorf with several supermarkets, shops and restaurants can be reached in a few minutes. The free ski bus and ski train to Zell am See and Kaprun depart nearby - ideal for a carefree holiday. Whether you come for snow, sun, rest or adventure - in Piesendorf you will experience a varied holiday in every season!.

A tip for the whole year is the TAUERN SPA Zell am See - Kaprun in Kaprun, featuring a 20,000 m² spa water and sauna world with 12 different pools and basins, spacious indoor and outdoor areas, ten saunas and steam baths, dedicated children’s and treatment area, and a diverse culinary offering. You can reach this thermal bath in a maximum of 10 minutes by car!
Tip from the expert
Visit the provincial capital of Salzburg (approx. 1 hour by car) with the Hohensalzburg Fortress, Salzburg's old town with its excellent shops, and Mirabell Palace with the Mirabell Gardens. Experience year-round tobogganing fun with the 'Maisi Flitzer,' a summer toboggan run in Kaprun, speeding down at 40 km per hour!
