The Taurachbahn is the highest narrow-gauge railway in Austria. The steam locomotive only runs in the summer. This is a special highlight during your stay in Mauterndorf that you should definitely experience! From June to September, the locomotive takes you from Mauterndorf to the small village of St. Andrä and back again.
