In the small mountain village of Forstau, where you will find plenty of hospitality and cosiness, you will find this well-kept holiday home with a nice flat on the first floor. The cosy living room is perfect for an evening of cards and the well-equipped kitchen allows you to prepare the most delicious meals. The garden is shared with the owner and from the balcony you can end the day in style with a drink and a great view. Amazing! .

Forstau's ski slope is a short distance away, making this property an ideal stay for families with young children or novice skiers. Looking for more of a challenge? Then this is the place to be. Just over 4 km from the property you will find the ski lifts of the Reiteralm (Schladming-Dachstein ski area). A trip to the Dachstein Glacier or the ski resorts of Zauchensee/Altenmarkt and Flachau is also a possibility. Forstau is located on the border of Salzburgerland province and Styria province. Both provinces offer plenty of great day trips. Nature lovers will find what they are looking for on a beautiful hiking or mountain bike tour .

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in Forstau. Der Ort ist ruhig und perfekt zum entspannen, wenn man mobil ist sind viele tolle Ausflugsziele zu erreichen aber auch von Forstau selbst aus gehen interessante Wanderungen los und es fährt ein Wanderbus an manchen Tagen (Infos findet man im Tourismusbüro). Die Wohnung selbst ist gut ausgestattet, sehr sauber und durch die tollen Balkone und den Garten kann man wunderbar draußen einen Kaffee trinken mit sensationellem Blick auf den Dachstein. Die Kommunikation mit Annabell war sehr gut, sie ist sehr nett genauso wie die Schwägerin und die Schwiegermutter, welche im Haus wohnt und uns in Empfang genommen hat. Alles in allem super. Eine Kleinigkeit: es wird leider keine Salzburger Land oder Dachstein Sommercard mit angeboten. Aber uns hat das nicht gestört.

Vi havde nogle fantastiske dage i Forstau. Den skønneste udsigt, rolige omgivelser, sød og imødekommende vært og en masse af tage sig til. Vi kommer meget gerne igen.

Einfach perfekt :) FEWO liegt in sehr guter Lage für Ausflüge zwischen Radstadt und Schladming. Sehr geräumige , sauberere, zweckmäßig eingerichtete Wohnung mit super Ausblick auf das Dachsteinmassiv, und in ruhiger Lage. Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Komplette Abwicklung passiert über Villa for You, jedoch die weitere Kommunikation direkt mit dem Vermieter. FEWO ist empfehlenswert ! gibt es nicht zu berichten! Es hat alles gepasst

Feels right at home. Ideal for families. Beautiful stay at a silent serene place. You can just go there and go nowhere else. Host is really helpful and responsive. Lovely Grandmother stays at ground floor. Only downside is living room is bit small for 6 people, but we didn't care that much. I will definitely come back.

Tip from the expert

he village of Forstau is especially suitable for families with young children. For the children there are several fun activities, but the village is not known for its après-ski. If you want to go on holiday to a large ski area and also want to enjoy the peace and quiet of a small mountain village, then Forstau is the place to be.
