In Mauerbach and its surroundings, there are plenty of restaurants and bars, supermarkets and other shopping facilities such as the Auhof Center Vienna shopping centre. In summer, the public pool in Gablitz, the Wienerwaldbad in Purkersdorf, the open-air pool Höpflerbad in Vienna, the public pool in Pressbaum and the recreational lake in Laxenburg with 3 jetties, 2 beach volleyball courts and 17,000 m2 of sunbathing area offer plenty of swimming fun!
