The ski area Arnoldstein/Dreiländereck with 15 km of pistes, the well-known Nassfeld ski area in the Sun Ski World with 110 kilometers of pistes and the Gerlitzen Alpe ski area with almost 70 kilometers of pistes can be reached in approximately 15-30 minutes by car. The region around the Gailtal valley offers numerous outdoor activities and excursion options: swimming in one of the nearby lakes (Ossiacher See, Pressegger See, Weißensee, Faaker See, Wörthersee), hiking and climbing mountain peaks, cycling along the River Gail, strolling through small towns typical of the region, exploring culinary highlights in the region's top restaurants and down-to-earth mountain huts.
