In winter, several ski areas in the immediate vicinity invite you to unforgettable days in the snow: the family-friendly ski area Arnoldstein/Dreiländereck with 15 kilometers of perfectly groomed slopes, the well-known ski area Nassfeld - part of the Sun Ski World - with an impressive 110 kilometers of slopes and the Gerlitzen Alpe, which impresses with around 70 kilometers of slopes and fantastic panoramic views. All three ski resorts can be easily reached by car in just 15 to 30 minutes. The Gailtal also shows its best side in the warmer months.
