The charming country house is located in the idyllic village of Rangersdorf, in the popular Mölltal region of Carinthia, a short distance from the Italian border and in the heart of the impressive Hohe Tauern National Park. It serves as a perfect base for those who love nature, tranquility, and active holidays throughout the year.
In winter, you can enjoy excellent snow reliability here. The Mölltaler Glacier ski area is just a short distance away, boasting no less than 36 km of slopes for skiing. Within 20–30 minutes, you can also reach several other ski areas, such as Grossglockner/Heiligenblut, Ankogel/Mallnitz, Emberger Alm, and the sunny Zettersfeld near Lienz. There are also many activities to enjoy outside of skiing, with toboggan runs and cross-country skiing and winter hiking trails winding through a magical winter landscape.
In summer, the region transforms into an outdoor paradise. Discover the rugged beauty of the Alps: vast alpine meadows, impressive glaciers, and crystal-clear mountain lakes. There are also countless hiking, cycling, and mountain biking routes suitable for all levels. The Marterle, Carinthia's highest pilgrimage church, located at 1,836 metres above sea level, is in the municipality of Rangersdorf. It offers stunning views of the Kreuzeck mountain group and the Lienzer Dolomites. It is also a popular starting point for several hiking routes. This is where, for example, the fourth stage of the Alpe-Adria-Trail hiking trail starts, easily recognised by the three eye-catching information columns. The entire trail runs from the Grossglockner via Carinthia, Slovenia and Friuli Venezia Giulia to the Adriatic Sea
