Let yourself be surprised by an unforgettable stay in this spacious and charming country house, idyllically located in the Carinthian Alps, between the Ankogel and Mölltal Glacier ski resorts - a true paradise in summer too! After an active summer day, you can reminisce in the sunny garden or on the generous south-facing terrace. The country house exudes comfort and a warm atmosphere, with modern amenities such as free WLAN and parking directly at the house.
The country house is located in the small mountain village of Mallnitz in Carinthia's Mölltal valley, in the middle of the Hohe Tauern National Park, a small paradise for anyone who loves nature in the Alps.
In winter, Mallnitz is THE meeting point for winter sports enthusiasts. The Ankogel ski area (4 km from the country house) awaits you with beautiful views and 13 km of perfectly prepared slopes. The Mölltal glacier in nearby Flattach with around 40 km of slopes offers winter sports enthusiasts snow safety, exciting glacier descents and ideal conditions for carvers, ski racers and snowboarders. Other ski areas in the immediate vicinity include the Grossglockner/Heiligenblutt ski area with 55 km of ski slopes, the family ski area Emberger Alm, located high above the Drau Valley, and the 4 varied top ski areas with ca. 200 km of ski slopes piste in Skigastein.
In summer, too, the Mölltal is an ideal destination for nature lovers and active holidaymakers. Whether you like hiking, cycling or are looking for a mountain bike adventure: here you will find relaxation, challenges and beautiful views. More than 300 kilometers of hiking, cycling and mountain biking trails take you through alpine meadows, forests and mountain landscapes.
The public swimming pools, beautiful bathing lakes and the Tauernbad in Mallnitz with its spacious pool, children's pool and wellness area with saunas are perfect for relaxing after a day in nature! There are also various sights, plenty of shopping opportunities and various restaurants in Mallnitz and the surrounding area.

Mallnitz is a true paradise for hiking enthusiasts. Well-signposted hiking trails lead through breathtaking landscapes, past waterfalls, alpine meadows and mountain lakes. Popular destinations include the Seebachsee, the Stockerhütte or the Arthur-von-Schmid-Haus. For experienced mountaineers, there are challenging tours to the Ankogel Group or the Säuleck
Tip from the expert
For recreation and relaxation for the whole family, visit the Felsentherme in Bad Gastein. This thermal spa offers a panoramic wellness area of 600 m² with eight saunas and steam baths, various pools, a toddler pool, a top-class massage program, and a rock cave with a thermal waterfall!
