Located on a beautiful estate in the small town of Liebenfels in Carinthia, Austria's southernmost province, this chalet is surrounded by pure nature and offers gorgeous hiking and riding trails. The city of Klagenfurt, the famous Lake Wörthersee, and Italy can be reached in just 30 minutes by car.
The Simonhöhe, a hiking and biking paradise, and in winter, the nearest ski resort with 15 kilometres of slopes and seven lifts, can be reached by car in under 15 minutes. In this family ski resort, beginners, pleasure skiers and experienced skiers alike will find the best conditions for real skiing fun with wide and perfectly prepared slopes in one of Austria's sunniest regions. This ski area also offers a children's area and a practice area, various ski tours, and a snow tubing track. Other well-known ski resorts, such as the Bad Kleinkirchheim ski area with 103 kilometres of slopes and the Gerlitzen Alpe ski area with 52 kilometres of beautiful, snow-covered slopes, can be easily reached in about an hour by car.
The region offers numerous hiking trails and cycling routes for extensive leisure activities. In the summer, the Kraigersee in Frauenstein, the Urbansee in Sankt Urban, the idyllic Goggausee in Steuerberg, the Zmulner See in Liebenfels, or the Längsee in Sankt Georgen offer plenty of swimming fun! You can reach the famous Wörthersee and Ossiacher See in around 15-30 kilometres by car, and in Sankt Veit an der Glan, there is a public indoor and outdoor pool.
