The charming ski-in/ski-out chalet is located in the cosy Alpine village of Kötschach-Mauthen, at the very end of the sunny Gailtal valley. Here, where Austria, Italy and Slovenia almost touch, you are surrounded by imposing mountain peaks, crystal-clear air and a relaxed holiday atmosphere. In this most beautiful corner of Carinthia - less than 9 kilometers from the Italian border as the crow flies - sports enthusiasts and epicureans alike will find exactly what they are looking for.
A short distance from the chalet, the slopes of the Kötschach-Mauthen-Vorhegg ski area start: a cosy family ski area with 6 kilometers of slopes and no less than 37 kilometres of perfectly maintained cross-country trails. Those looking for more of a challenge can also reach the region's larger ski areas within 25-45 minutes, including the versatile Nassfeld-Hermagor with 110 km ski slopes, the panoramic Zettersfeld in the Lienzer Dolomites with 21 km ski slopes and the family-friendly Golzentipp in Obertilliach with 12 km ski slopes.
Kötschach-Mauthen is part of the Nassfeld-Pressegger See tourist region, a paradise for hikers and cyclists. Discover the 'Hike World' with 25 themed trails, unwind in the water and wellness oasis Aquarena or take a refreshing dip in the idyllic Waldbad Mauthen.
