The chalet is located in a beautiful chalet park in Afritz am See, in a stunning area in the south of Carinthia, where mountains, expansive forests, and crystal-clear lakes define the landscape. It is a delightful destination for lovers of peace, nature, and a vacation full of activities. From the chalet, you are directly at the Afritzer See, a beautiful lake with well-maintained beach areas, sunbathing lawns, piers, and a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains.

About an hour's drive and you'll be in Tarvisio, a well-known border town just beyond the Austrian-Italian border. The town offers quaint streets full of shops, pizzerias and ristoranti and is located in the Carnic Alps at around 700 metres above sea level. Striking mountain peaks all around are popular with many sports enthusiasts from all over the world, both in summer and winter. This much-loved day trip becomes extra fun with an afternoon of shopping!

A year-round tip is a visit to the KärntenTherme Warmbad-Villach, one of the most modern thermal spas in Austria with a total area of 11,000 m2 on four levels, with wave and sports pools, thermal baths, various saunas, a massage programme with relaxing and intensive massages and various other wellness treatments. You can reach this therme in about 30 minutes by car!
