The exclusive chalet is located in the small village of Afritz am See in the heart of Carinthia, in a setting of mountains, forests and crystal clear lakes. In winter, the top ski resorts of Bad Kleinkirchheim with 103 km of slopes and the Gerlitzen Alpe with 50-55 km of slopes are within easy reach. Bad Kleinkirchheim is known for its wide, sunny slopes and its 2 thermal spas, while the Gerlitzen Alpe offers panoramic views of the surrounding lakes and perfect conditions for both families and sporty skiers. Outside the ski season, these areas are also popular with hikers and mountain bikers.

Looking for cosy, local ski spots where you can hit the slopes in a nice casual way? Then these small ski areas around Villach are perfect! Think Arnoldstein - Dreiländereck with 15 km of cosy runs, Ochsengarten - Paternion for first practice turns and Oberaichwald - Faak am See, where a practice lift takes you slowly up a gentle slope. No mass tourism, but charming slopes, a few lifts and, above all, plenty of peace and quiet to enjoy the mountains to the full. Perfect for beginners, families or anyone who just wants to ski in a relaxed way!
