The city of Klagenfurt, the famous Wörthersee lake and Italy are just 30 minutes away by car. The Simonhöhe, a hiking and biking paradise, and in winter, the nearest ski resort with 15 kilometres of slopes and seven lifts, can be reached by car in under 15 minutes. In this family ski resort, beginners, pleasure skiers and experienced skiers alike will find the best conditions for real skiing fun with wide and perfectly prepared slopes in one of Austria's sunniest regions. This ski area also offers a children's area and a practice area, various ski runs and snow tubing track, as well as well-known ski resorts, such as the Bad Kleinkirchheim ski area with 103 kilometres of slopes and the Gerlitzen Alpe ski area with 52 kilometres of snow-covered slopes which can be reached in about an hour by car.
