Surrounded by the beautiful nature of the Alps and a short distance from the Simonhöhe ski area and the famous Wörthersee lake, this apartment offers the perfect place for sports and nature lovers. Located on the 1st floor, the apartment is modern and cosily furnished and combines comfort with rustic charm. After an eventful day, you can enjoy the sunset over the mountains on the balcony!.
The estate is located in the small town of Liebenfels in the Glantal in Carinthia, Austria's southernmost province, surrounded by pure nature and beautiful hiking and riding trails. The city of Klagenfurt, the famous Wörthersee lake and Italy are just 30 minutes away by car.
The Simonhöhe, a hiking and biking paradise and in winter the nearest ski resort with 15 kilometres of slopes and 7 lifts, can be reached by car in less than 15 minutes. In this family ski resort, beginners, pleasure skiers and experienced skiers alike will find the best conditions for real skiing fun with wide and perfectly prepared slopes. Other well-known ski areas such as the Bad Kleinkirchheim ski area with 103 kilometres of slopes and the Gerlitzen Alpe ski area with 52 kilometres of beautifully snow-covered slopes can be easily reached in about 1 hour by car.
The region offers numerous hiking trails and cycling routes for extensive leisure activities. In summer, the Kraigersee in Frauenstein, the Urbansee in Sankt Urban, the idyllic Goggausee in Steuerberg, the Zmulner See in Liebenfels or the Längsee in Sankt Georgen offer lots of swimming fun! You can reach the famous Wörthersee and Ossiacher See in around 15-30 kilometres by car, and in Sankt Veit an der Glan there is a public indoor and outdoor pool. A holiday in Liebenfels is also perfect for culture and history lovers, as the region is home to numerous old castles, ruins and churches with their own special flair.
On the estate, you can also play the popular game Lazer.at.
Liebenfels and Sankt Veit an der Glan offer plenty of shopping opportunities for everyday needs, as well as a fine selection of restaurants.
Charging an e-car at the accommodation is not possible and not allowed. Should you nevertheless charge your car illegally, the house owner/manager may, without discussion, hold you responsible for any damage and charge a fine
