The holiday apartment is located in a small-scale chalet park in Afritz am See, a charming village situated between the Nockberge mountains and right by the Afritzer See. The area is characterized by a unique variety of lakes, vast forests, and plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities. This is the perfect place to fully enjoy nature—ideal for hikers, cyclists, water sports enthusiasts, and families, in every season.
During the winter months, the region transforms into a beloved destination for winter sports enthusiasts. The Bad Kleinkirchheim ski area, with over 100 km of well-maintained slopes and modern lifts, is about 15 km away. Closer by, at around 13 km on the sunny south side of Lake Ossiach, lies the Gerlitzen Alpe. This snow-sure ski area offers around 50 to 55 km of slopes and stunning panoramic views of the impressive mountain landscape.
Even outside the winter season, there is plenty to experience. Enjoy a relaxing boat trip on lake Wörthersee, take a refreshing dip in lake Ossiacher See, lake Millstätter See, or lake Brennsee, or explore the many picturesque walking and cycling paths. A hike towards Verditz is highly recommended: here you can enjoy expansive panoramas, refreshing mountain air, and cozy mountain huts along the way
