Comfortable and modern stay
Pinzgau Mountain Lodges consists of eleven contemporary lodges: ten semi-detached houses and one detached lodge. All are bright, with a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms and a private sauna. The atmosphere is warm and modern, with clear alpine influences. Perfect for families, couples and groups of friends who value quality, privacy and a relaxed home-from-home feeling.

The park is located just a short distance from the village of Wald im Pinzgau and several restaurants. In Neukirchen am Großvenediger, about five kilometres away, you will find supermarkets, shops, more restaurants and the cable car to Wildkogel Arena. Everything close by, yet in a peaceful setting.

Summer, winter and everything in between
There is plenty to experience around Pinzgau Mountain Lodges in every season. In winter, you can ski in Wildkogel Arena, Zillertal Arena or KitzSki, go cross-country skiing on the Pinzgau trails, hike through the snowy valley and enjoy the famous toboggan run in Bramberg. In between, recharge at the Kristallbad Wald Königsleiten.

As soon as the snow melts, nature takes over. Explore hiking trails in the Hohe Tauern National Park, follow the mountain roads with an e bike or mountain bike, visit the Krimml Waterfalls and combine action with relaxation in and around the Kristallbad. The region is calm, spacious and child-friendly, with enough variety for a full mountain holiday.

The ski resorts around Wald im Pinzgau

Three top ski areas within easy reach, each with its own unique character. From Oberpinzgau Lodges Wald, you will enjoy the perfect mix of peace and variety. No mass tourism here, just wide slopes, long descents and that typical Austrian charm. You will ski in Wildkogel Arena, Zillertal Arena or KitzSki, all easily reachable from your lodge.

Wildkogel Arena
Just a few minutes’ drive away is the Wildkogel Arena near Neukirchen am Großvenediger. This ski area is known for its wide slopes, modern lifts and relaxed atmosphere. Ideal for families with children and for anyone who prefers to avoid the crowds. The 75 kilometres of pistes stretch between 850 and 2,100 metres, with plenty of sunshine and cosy mountain restaurants. A highlight: the famous toboggan run in Bramberg starts here, offering 14 kilometres of snow-filled fun down to the valley.

Zillertal Arena
Via Wald and Königsleiten, you reach the Zillertal Arena, one of the most complete ski areas in Austria. More than 140 kilometres of pistes, modern lifts and lots of variety make this a paradise for sporty skiers and snowboarders. You ski at high altitude, often with views of the Gerlos Pass, and enjoy friendly mountain huts for a true Tyrolean lunch. The atmosphere is lively, but never overwhelming.

KitzSki
From Hollersbach im Pinzgau, take the Panoramabahn and you’ll quickly reach the world-famous KitzSki area. Ski between Pass Thurn, Jochberg and Kitzbühel, where challenging slopes, charming huts and the flair of a true classic come together. Perfect for those seeking variety and a taste of Austria’s iconic ski culture.
