Whether you are looking for a challenge and go kiting or windsurfing, whether you want to try supping or just swimming, the Veerse Meer offers the possibility. Did you know that there is a great mountain bike route here of no less than 37 km? The route runs along the Oosterschelde and the Veerse Meer.

If you want a nice dinner out in Kortgene, try Houtzaagwerf, where you can enjoy pure and Burgundian food. The nice thing is that you can sit in the garden, among the chickens scurrying around.

What is also a nice tip is to sail from North to South Beverland, with the foot and bicycle ferry M.S. Hoop, you thereby sail across the Veerse Meer to Wolphaartsdijk, an idyllic village, have lunch on one of the many terraces here and then continue to Middelburg.
