Opposite the house is a good Italian restaurant. Ideal if you don't feel like cooking. With half an hour's walk or less than 10 minutes' cycling you are in Cadzand-bad. Whereas the village of Cadzand is wonderfully quiet, Cadzand-bad, in the far south of the province of Zeeland, is a modern seaside resort with a wide sandy beach, many (souvenir) shops, restaurants and a lovely wide boulevard. It has been a well-known and popular seaside resort for many years. As early as the 19th century, people flocked to Cadzand for the beneficial effects of sea water and clean air. Cadzand is officially recognised as a health resort. In the Netherlands, only Domburg also has this status. In several places, you can book a spa day and relax in one of the high-quality wellness centres. Not only is wellness of a high standard here, in Cadzand you can also enjoy excellent food. You will find no fewer than 2 Michelin restaurants, but of course you can also eat delicious mussels in one of the many beach bars. If you want a day out, nature lovers will love nature reserves Het Zwin. This place is a migratory spot for many birds. Here you can go for lovely walks and enjoy nature. Because of its location close to Belgium, the towns of Knokke and Bruges are easy to visit.
