About this holiday home From your 'floating flat', you can experience daily life on and around the water in a harbour and on the Uitgeestermeer. You can explore the surroundings very well from here, by bike, on foot or by boat. The Zaanse Schans, for example, is close by, as is the beautiful Noordhollands Dune Reserve. In the harbour, you can hire bicycles and boats, have a nice lunch or dinner and much more.

The houseboat feels like a cosy, nicely furnished floating flat. The convenience of a dishwasher may not be present and the WiFi signal is not as strong as at home, but otherwise you will lack little. You can make delicious coffee with the Nespresso coffee machine, cook on the 2-burner induction cooker, the Smart TV in the living room lets you enjoy all radio and TV channels and the 'master' bedroom has 2 box spring beds. The other bedroom has a bunk bed. This houseboat has air conditioning and that can of course be very pleasant in the summer.

With a 20-minute drive you can reach the beach of Castricum aan Zee or Egmond aan Zee. The park is easily accessible via the motorway and Schiphol Airport is close by. You are also close to nice towns like Volendam and Monnickendam on the Markermeer and the big cities of Alkmaar, Haarlem and Amsterdam.
