About this holiday home
Rolling hills, grazing horses, free-range chickens and a historic watermill with several holiday homes. This is what you will find in the always beautiful South Limburg. This holiday home is exceptionally furnished with new and old elements. The place for a cosy get-together is the spacious living room with open kitchen. On the 1st and 2nd floor are the bedrooms and bathrooms. In the shared courtyard is the terrace where you can enjoy breakfast when the weather is good.
Many guests come here because of the beautiful hiking and touring routes and the many excursions possible from this central 'three-country point'. It is a true Eldorado here with e.g. the Savelsbos, the Voerstreek and the Belgian Ardennes. A wonderful route by car or bike is the Mergelland route which leads through the hilly areas.
For families with children, it is very nice here. Children can move around freely in a sheltered environment. For the little ones, there is a cot/chair available and a playground. Nearby is a riding school where pony rental under supervision is possible. It is also possible to bring your own horse. Several barbecues are available.
The well-known border triangle in Vaals is also close by, as are the cities of Maastricht, Liège and Aachen. With the children, a summer trip to Funvalley Maastricht is also great fun and do you enjoy a sauna visit? Thermae 2000 is close by. A few kilometres away is the beautiful Eijsden Castle, which is great to combine with a delicious lunch or dinner on a lovely terrace overlooking the river Maas. There is also a viewing tower in Mesch which offers a very nice view over the nature surrounding the village. During the summer months, you can also visit numerous folklore festivals. In short, all the ingredients for a wonderful stay with your friends or family.
