About this holiday home
You will find this cosy flat in a restored farmhouse with a monumental water mill. There are more flats in this farmstead; you enter this ground-floor flat in the living room. From here, you have a view of the historic courtyard. Here is also your terrace. For families with children, it is very nice here. Children can move around freely in a sheltered environment. For the little ones, there is a cot/chair and a playground. Chickens scurry around here and there
Many guests come here because of the beautiful hiking and touring routes and the many excursions possible from this central 'three-country point'. It is a true Eldorado here with e.g. the Savelsbos, the Voerstreek and the Belgian Ardennes. A wonderful route by car or bike is the Mergelland route which leads through the hilly areas.
The well-known border triangle in Vaals is also close by, as are the cities of Maastricht, Liège and Aachen. With the children, a summer trip to Funvalley Maastricht is also great fun and do you enjoy a sauna visit? Thermae 2000 is close by. A few kilometres away is the beautiful Eijsden Castle, which is great to combine with a delicious lunch or dinner on a lovely terrace overlooking the river Maas. There is also a viewing tower in Mesch which offers a very nice view over the nature surrounding the village. During the summer months, you can also visit numerous folklore festivals. In short, all the ingredients for a wonderful stay with your friends or family.
