A relaxing day is possible in recreation area Zeumeren, a beautiful natural area with a recreational lake and a sandy beach. If you love action, the Veluwe offers you a wealth of possibilities. Beautiful walks and cycle rides through forests, heathland and sandbanks, as well as a day with the forest ranger watching the Dutch Big-Five.
Climbing and scrambling in the forest, the rope course in Garderen is an oasis for young and old. A stone's throw away is Monkey-Town, a large indoor playground. Voorthuizen is a cosy village with good restaurants, terraces and shops. Visit the Hanseatic cities of Hattem, Harderwijk and Elburg.
For a day out with the kids, Julianatoren amusement park or Apenheul are excellent options.
And of course, Paleis het Loo in Apeldoorn should not be missed during your visit!
