About this holiday home
On the outskirts of Puy l'Eveque, and only 20 metres from the Lot river, you will find this simple, yet cosy village house, with a nice terrace and consisting of 3 floors.
You can walk straight into the medieval heart of this town, and the bakery, bar and restaurant are just around the corner.
It is very quiet, and you walk straight to the bank of the river Lot, with a cosy pub-brasserie directly on the left.
The house is characteristic, fitting within this old centre, not suitable for those with walking difficulties, but if you can feel the charm of the whole, this is a wonderful place to stay and get to know the area.
On the ground floor is a front terrace with all kinds of flowers, and a sitting area. You enter through the kitchen, with next to it a small shower and toilet, through the stairs to the first floor with a nice sitting-dining room, and finally on the second floor, an open bedroom with double bed.
Visit Cahors and the famous wine region around it, the bastides Monpazier and Villefranche du Périgord with their typical covered markets, or go cycling along the Lot.
The Dordogne River is a 40-minute drive away and the whole region is among the most beautiful in France.
