About this holiday home
This very luxurious Manoir is situated on top of a hill not far from the charming town of Tournon d'Agenais.
The landscape is vast with rolling hills, sunflower fields and forests.
This villa is part of a small stud farm, where jumping and dressage horses are bred. This is separate from the villa, and is managed by 2 English ladies who can also help you with all your questions. They also provide breakfast and/or dinner on request.
The villa is an imposing building in itself, and consists of 3 buildings with an authentic gate surrounding a courtyard. The whole is very well taken care of, with retention of authentic details.
This complex is offered for both 8 persons and 4 persons stay, but never together, so you always have all the privacy! When staying for 4 persons, part of the house is closed, but all facilities remain available.
Through the courtyard you enter the hall, with on the right a large luxurious kitchen, on the left a very spacious sitting room, with behind it the entrance to the terrace and the hot tub (not free, to be paid on the spot according to use).
The staircase leads to the floor with 2 very large bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom with shower, bathtub, washbasins and toilets.
Through the kitchen one enters the 2nd part (which is closed at 4 persons use), with here also a very spacious living room with fireplace, access to the outdoor kitchen with lounge set, a 2nd kitchen and the stairs to the top with also 2 bedrooms and each bathroom en suite, with shower, bath, washbasins and toilets. On the left is a separate area with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and is used for 12 person use, otherwise it is closed.
The furnishing of the house is classic/modern and fits perfectly with the high-quality renovation recently completed. There is a large swimming pool (depth 1.80m) with luxury sun beds.
From both terraces there is a magnificent view over the fields and the horse meadows where the mares and foals are walking.
The property is situated at one hour from the river Dordogne and half an hour from the river Lot. Worth visiting are the bastides of Villefranche du Périgord, Montflanquin, but certainly Monpazier where regularly big film productions take place because of its high quality medieval character. During the summer months, spectacular performances take place here regularly. Combine everything with a visit to Chateau Biron and an absolute must is Chateau Bonaguil.
An absolute winner in our file!
