You can ski in Zell am See or in Kaprun. The Kitzsteinhorn glacier in Kaprun offers skiing from November to May. Zell am See has recently been connected to the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm (408 km of prepared pistes). Both areas are easy to reach by car; and the ski bus stops just 300 metres from the flat. With children it is fun tobogganing on the nearby Erlebnisberg Naglköpfl in Walchen.
In the summer, there are many opportunities for fun trips in the immediate vicinity. There is the nearby open-air swimming pool (5 min walk) with various slides and children's playground. Piesendorf is known for its excellent walking opportunities. Did you know that this area is even certified as a walking region? The beautiful mountain landscape also offers many opportunities for mountain bikers and rock climbers. Or how about an excursion with the local steam train to Zell am See, to make a boat trip on the lake? You can relax all year round in the 2000m2 spa and sauna area of TAUERN SPA, which is beautifully situated in the mountains
