About this holiday home This beautifully located and spacious chalet is suitable for 16 persons and is situated near the family village Rauris. In this chalet you will find 2 living rooms and a luxuriously equipped kitchen where you can cook for the entire group. In total there are 7 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms divided over several floors. This beautiful place offers all privacy. Would you like to sit down with a book? That is possible here! Or would you rather play cards with your family or friends? This group house is also very suitable for that. On the first floor there is a relaxation room and in the basement you will find a sauna where you can completely unwind. On the large balcony you can enjoy the fresh mountain air and the breathtaking view. The chalet has private parking for 4 cars.
The skiing area of Rauris is varied and modern. It has an altitude of up to 2175 metres. From here you have a fantastic view on the Grossglockner, which is the highest mountain in Austria. The ski area is ideal for families with children. This is due to the clear and simple descents. There are ski schools with playgrounds where the youngest skiers can practice a lot. The ski bus is included in the ski pass price. The Gasteinertal, Zell am See and the Hochkönig region are easy to reach from here. So if you want to ski somewhere else for a day, it's easy from this village!
Rauris is situated in a narrow green valley and is surrounded by the mountains that belong to the National Park Hohe Tauern. The village has a walking network with more than 295 kilometres of well marked paths. The walking routes are for all levels and you can choose from daytrips, multiple-day walking routes and themed walks. The environment of Rauris is green and has many waterfalls, mountain lakes and streams. Would you like to spend a day swimming? The Rauriser Sonnblick-Freischwimmbad is an outdoor pool with spacious lawns and views of the beautiful mountain panorama. Furthermore, there are extensive cycling and mountain biking routes and for the daredevils among us, canyoning and rafting.
