Corona information

Code yellow

When the travel advice for your destination is set to code yellow, your holiday will take place. In that case, the government decides that it is safe to travel to your destination.

All destinations with a yellow travel advice comply with the European health measures. Holidays that comply with the European measures will not be cancelled free of charge. Click here to view all the measures that have been announced in accordance with the European protocol.

Code orange/Code red/risk area

Is there a code orange or code red (risk area) at your destination? Then Villa for You offers you the following solutions:

  1. Same holiday home, but at a later time? In consultation with the owner, we will see if we can rebook your stay in the holiday home to another period free of charge. Any additional or reduced costs for the new period of stay will then be settled.
  2. Another holiday home, but at a later time? Of course we will always try to do this free of charge, but we cannot guarantee this. Everything goes in consultation with the homeowner. You can change your booking up to 60 days before arrival at 10% of the travel sum to another holiday home.
  3. If there is an entry ban or risk area declared at your destination or an entry ban from the country where you are travelling, your holiday cannot take place. In that case we will cancel your holiday free of charge and you will get your money back from us or, if you prefer, you will receive a voucher to use in the future. We look forward to this for a maximum of 2 weeks.

I'd rather not go on holiday. What now?

If you decide that you would rather not go on holiday, even though there is no code Yellow, Orange or Red, we cannot cancel your holiday free of charge. In most cases we can rebook you free of charge, to a later time in the same holiday home. Please contact our Team of Experts.

Would you like to cancel because of Corona?

We understand that! Together with the homeowner we want to be as flexible as possible in dealing with the situation and always hope to find a solution. A solution that satisfies everyone, but especially you as our guest. As an exception, if the homeowner does not move along flexibly or if an alternative is not possible, we can cancel the booking up to 60 days before arrival at 10% of the travel sum compared to the standard 35% cancellation fee.

In exceptional cases, if the owner is not flexible or if an alternative is not possible, we can cancel the booking up to 60 days prior to arrival at 10% of the travel price, compared to the standard 35% cancellation fee.

Of course it is important to us that you as our guest are accommodated as much as possible. In our conversations with our home owners, we also tell them what doubts you have and what prevents you from booking. That is why we are ready to help you in situations caused by the Coronavirus. Our goal, when it comes to Corona, is not to earn anything. Of course, we will always discuss this with you in advance.

In case of cancellation because of the Corona virus, receive a 10% discount on a new booking.

Are you unable to move your booking to a later period and, because of the Corona virus, are you forced to cancel the booking? In that case we will give you a discount of 10% of the travel sum when you make a new booking.
Example: You book a holiday home of € 600.00 including extra costs (excluding deposit) within one year after cancellation. After the (down) payment has been made and the free cancellation period has expired, we will refund € 60.00 (10% of the booking value) to your account. How does this work?
